An aluminum die-cast cylinder head maximizes exhaust efficiency while the forged steel intake and exhaust valves are designed for a long service life. Even the sintered ferrous alloy valve guides and seats are precision machined to fit tight against the valves for increased power. With all components made from· special alloys designed to wear less and last longer, durability means high power and high performance.

By simply tilting the cylinder 600, Suzuki ORV engines reduce both the engine height and weight for improved portability and a wider range of engine applications. Attractively styled, the engine configuration also permits a larger fuel tank with a spacious filler hole. Combined with the improved fuel efficiency of a butter-fly valve-type carburetor, continuous running time per tank-ful is longer than ever.

Suzuki OHV engines also feature a transistorized ignition system to assure reliable starting for years. Starting is made even easier by an automatic mechanical decompression system that makes pulling the recoil starter easier and the V270E also features an electric starter. And a standard built-in engine-assisted governor keeps the engine running smoother by automatically regulating the engine speed according to sudden load changes - so the operator can set the engine speed and let the engine do the work.
