Selespeed is a sequential gearbox with steering wheel button controls available on the 2.0 T. Spark. This gearbox control system allows you a new driving experience.
Change gear using just two buttons:
right to change up and left to change down. The gea~ box can also be controlled by a special joystick on the central tunnel at any time. And more, Selespeed offers you a fully automatic City function specially designed for driving around town.

The petrol engine range is completed by a six cylinder 2.5 unit with V architecture and 24 valves paired with a six speed manual gearbox or Q-system automatic transmission.

The level of excellence achieved by the Alfa 156 engines is also apparent in the two Unijet Turbodiesel units. Alfa Romeo was the first to fit turbodiesel units with common rail direct injection systems. A new diesel generation in four cylinder 1.9 and five cylinder 2.4 versions. High power and torque, fuel consumption 15% lower than conventional diesel units. Five speed manual gearbox on both versions.
